Halloween and Other Amusing Times

Ahhh, Halloween! I think it's my favorite holiday. There's nothing more fun than getting dressed up and making a fool of yourself. What am I going to be this year? A vampire of some kind, I think. I'm not really sure what I'm going to wear yet, but I bought the fangs. I got those cool ones that are separate and attach only to the canines, none of those silly full mouth ones for me! I want to be able to talk! But the rest of the costume may take a little time.... And then there's the matter of what I'm going to do for Halloween. There's a dance here at the college, but I don't know if I want to do that. But if I don't do that, what will I do? Oh, such dilemas of my ever increasingly dull life......

Boredom All Around

So here I sit, being bored off my rocker waiting for the beginning of Kwire (choir). And I've come to more than one realization over the past 5-10 minutes of nothingness (and also over the last few days). The first is that I need more friends on livejournal. I only have one at the moment (thanks Fish!), and that seems to me like it should be changed. Two, I really need to figure out an excuse to get down to Crete to hang with my friends there. Three is if we do go to the Anime Con at UNL, where would I find a costume? Any ideas? Five is that finding a job around here is dumb. Six: I suddenly realized I have no idea what to do with my life. Seven, I realized that I have way too much time on my hands and not enough motivation to do anything. Eight, I still hate Mondays. Nine, I do not have the capacity to come up with an original and compelling ghost story plot. And ten: that Babb hasn't updated in a very long time. I really want my Babb!!!
So there you have it. Proof that I shouldn't be left alone in my brain for extended periods of time.....
Laterz

On the Plus Side...

Life is so boring here. Ugh, I need something to do. All my friends have left for their prospective colleges and classes have started for me. *sigh* Oh well....
On the plus side: I finally figured out how to work this silly live journal thing. As exibited by the fact that my entry is now all cool and stuff. Or should be. Hope it works....
I haven't heard from that *special* guy in a while, but I don't know if that's because he's been busy or what. We communicate through facebook, and he's been on since I talked to him last, so... But whatevs, if it's not to be, then I guess it's not to be.
I watched Disturbia last night with some friends from Maranatha. That movie would be good except for the lead female character. She was basically just there to entice the men watching the movie. All she did was prance around half-naked doing absolutely nothing, and she wasn't even a good actress or anything. But I digress. The last 1/2 an hour of the movie was really good, though. We were being overly dramatic and screaming at the TV and what not, you know, like: "Don't go in there!" and things like that. But it was fun. But I'm thoroughly freaked out now. I keep looking behind all the doors I go through to see if there's a creepy guy behind them. And all the shades in my house are now pulled down to prevent anyone from just standing outside being creepy. Watch the movie, and you'll understand.
Right now, I should be out job hunting. But I don't really feel like doing that, so I'm using this as an excuse to procrastinate. I wish the world didn't revolve around money so I wouldn't have to worry about having any.
Anyway, I've run out of things to complain about. I realize now that the title I chose for this was stupid because there's only been one "plus side" in a sea of "negative sides". But I'm not going to bother changing it, because I kinda like the irony.

Bored and a Little Sad

So, here I am. Which is the source of most of my problems. I am here instead of at Doane, where I should be. Instead, I am stuck living with my parents and going to a silly school which is pretty much like my high school, since half of my class and half of the class under me now go here. *sigh* And I'm stuck living with my family again. Not that I don't love them! I just can't stand them. At nearly 20, I think I can run at least some aspects of my life!
But my classes go well, I suppose. My Acting I class was canceled today, but on the plus side: I now don't have to memorize two monologues for the play. If I want to audition, he said he'll just give me something cold to read. Other than that, things are pretty good. I'm in choir again, which I really missed last year.
The cute guy I've had my eye on for forever moved away. *tear* He'll be back in the area to visit periodically, so it's not like I won't ever see him again, but still: it's sad. On the other hand: he did kinda ask me to go to dinner with him the next time he's in town. But I don't really think he meant it that way....
Oh well, life's just boring right now. I miss all my friends from Doane, and can't help feeling I should be there with them. I'll just have to go and visit, I guess. And sleep on Ellen and Laura's (Laur's) Futon of Luuuuuve!

                                                                                                 Laterz
